The Dogs Are Back In Town
This morning G and I went downtown to see the start of the Yukon Quest. This year the trail starts in Fairbanks and ends in Whitehorse. Although not as famous as the Iditarod, the Quest is a grueling 1000 mile race.Today the weather was unseasonably warm, one temperature read 38F above! After the race G and I walked around downtown for awhile. It seemed like the whole town came out today. Thank you so much for sharing the pictures. I love pictures of snow but hate being in the stuff. The race looks like it would be fun to watch.
It's even more fun to ride in the sled!
great picts, you are braver than me to deal with all that snow up there, the snow here in michigan is bad enough
Sometimes the weather in Michigan is worse than what we get! I believe they call it the "lake effect".
don't get to bad lake effect where im at, west side of the state and north of me does, however it is nothing compared to New York, they get it bad around bufullo.buffulo bufullo however you spell it and rochester.
